Earning a Professional Credential

A Professional Credential is issued for one Career Path, on the strength of work a reviewer actually read. It is the strongest claim MasarUX makes about a learner, which is why the requirements behind it are strict and computed rather than judged case by case.

What a path requires

• Its required Courses completed.
• Its required Practice Tasks completed.
• Its Formal Projects submitted and approved, including the final Project and its oral defence.
• Its declared Competency Domains at or above the evidence strength that path requires.
• Its required Case Studies assembled from that approved evidence.

Each path declares its own thresholds. On the UX/UI Professional path every one of the eight Competency Domains must reach Verified. Other paths declare their own set, and a Domain a path does not declare is not required for it.

How eligibility is computed

Eligibility is recomputed on the server from your actual records at the moment a credential is issued. It is never taken from a flag the page sent, and never from a cached earlier answer. Evidence is scoped to the path it was produced in, so work from another path does not count here.

What the credential records

At issuance, the credential takes a permanent snapshot of the defensible claims behind it — the Competency Domains verified, the reviewed Projects, the path it belongs to. Public verification reads that snapshot, not live tables, so what a credential claims can never drift because of an unrelated change elsewhere in your account.

Revocation

A credential can be revoked, with a recorded reason and date. A revoked credential is not deleted — its verification page continues to exist and says plainly that it was revoked, because silently removing a record a third party may already hold a link to would be worse than showing them the truth.
