You do not need a subscription to start, and you do not need to decide on a Career Path on day one. This sequence uses only what a free account already has.
- Create your account and verify your email address.
- Open Introduction to UX Design and Human-Centered Thinking. It is free in full — every Lesson, every Quiz, and the Exam.
- Work through its Levels in order and take each Quiz as you reach it, rather than saving them all for the end.
- Pass the Course Exam. Passing is 80% or above, the same threshold used everywhere on the platform.
- Read the first Lesson of two or three Courses that interest you. That preview Lesson is open on every Course, so you can judge the writing and the level before paying anything.
- Open the Career Paths page and read how one path is structured, even if you are not ready to commit to it.
By the end of that sequence you have a completed Course, a real sense of how Lessons and assessments read in your language, and enough information to decide whether a Career Path is what you want next.
