Accessibility Implementation and Remediation
Audit and repair accessibility in software that already exists. Work from the built artifact rather than a specification: run automated, keyboard, and assistive-technology passes, read the accessibility tree, fix markup natively before reaching for ARIA, remediate focus, forms, and errors, catch the failure modes characteristic of generated code, and keep the fixes from regressing.
By the end of this Course, you can audit a shipped interface for real accessibility barriers, remediate them in code with native-first fixes, verify the repair across automated, keyboard, and assistive-technology checks, and produce a remediation record and regression guard that hold up under review.

Completed Course progress automatically counts toward the Career Path when this Course belongs to a Mission.
- Every technique is applied to built software, so the evidence is a run you can repeat rather than an opinion
- Separates the three verification passes — automated, manual keyboard, assistive technology — so you never confuse one for another
- Treats generated code as a first-class review problem rather than an afterthought
- Uses scenario-based assessments drawn from the judgment calls of real remediation work
- Designers who implement in code and are handed a shipped interface with accessibility defects to find and fix
- Design Engineers reviewing AI-generated changes that look accessible in the diff and are not accessible in the browser
- Design system maintainers who need one component fix to close dozens of product instances
- Anyone who has to defend an accessibility claim to an engineer, a procurement reviewer, or a user with a screen reader
- 3 progressive Levels and 30 substantive bilingual Lessons
- Heavy annotated code examples in HTML, CSS, TSX, and diffs, each carrying the defect being described
- 30 Lesson Quizzes with 10 scenario-based questions each
- 3 Level Exams with 15 transfer questions each
